# Methodology

How we source, verify and present Australian financial intelligence.

## Primary sources

CheckRate aggregates publicly available data from primary Australian institutional sources, including the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

## Verification

Each statistic is cross-checked against the original publication before release. Where data is revised by the issuing body, we update the corresponding entry and note the revision date.

## Presentation

Figures are presented without editorial adjustment. Where context is provided (e.g. trend commentary), it is clearly distinguished from the underlying data.

## Limitations

Statistics are general information only and may be subject to revision by their issuing body. CheckRate does not provide financial advice.
